FUNWOOD has been in the Auction Business for over 55 years now liquidating estates and selling antiques.
FUNWOOD got it's name from the hardwood dance floor. Original owner Mr. Citty opened a supper club and dance hall in the 1950's. There was an old country store on this property before the present building was built. It is still well known locally for the dance hall stories and tales of times long ago with topics of Dancing, Music, Moonshine, and Bootlegging to mention a few!
Fleet Milsap leased the building around 1966 from Mr & Mrs Oakley and started having antique auctions and continued to use the name FUNWOOD!
We acquired it in 2004 and have continued to grow as a family business providing services with honesty and integrity for estates, inheritances, antiques, estate settlements, business and personal liquidations, farm equipment, restaurant equipment, school surplus, NASCAR racing equipment, personal collections, and real estate.

We will be glad to meet and discuss how the process works with you the owner and/or the executor to make an assessment of the property, lay out a plan of action and write a contract stating all the specifics and agree on type of sale, budget and commissions.
We sort through everything in the house, each room, closet, storage area, garage, attic, shed and barn to declutter and separate all the Good from the not so good items. We set aside any personal or family items for you as we prepare items for the sale.
We work on commission and strive for the best possible prices in which the current market will bare.

Let us handle all the stress. We do all the sorting, labeling, organizing, cataloging, advertising, selling, meeting for pickups, load out, documenting, invoicing, collecting payments and settlement.
LIVE onsite, LIVE Online and
Online Only Timed Auctions.
If you don't have enough to justify an onsite auction we may be able to move select items to our store for consignment,
Another possibility would be to catalog items where they are and conduct an online auction with a specific day for Pickup.
If you have items in paid storage facilities we are able to pick up and transfer suitable items to our store for either consignment or online auction. .
